For 19 years the Warrnambool Daybreak Rotary Club has showcased various city locations at its Long Lunch and this year is no different.
On February 25 about 100 people will enjoy a three-course meal at Brother Fox at Deakin University while overlooking the Hopkins River.
The event raises money for local causes with proceeds from this year to be donated to The Lookout, a campaign to have a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in the city, and the Standing Tall youth mentoring program.
Organiser Jenny Turner said it was a good fun day which raised in excess of $5000 each year.
“We usually donate to two local causes. We like to give money to the community,” Ms Turner said.
Some of the items up for grabs at the auction include a remote and radio controlled Aston Martin car, two tickets to the May Racing
Carnival ladies luncheon, accommodation packages, paintings by local artists, various hampers and more.
Tickets are $75 and include a drink on arrival. To book contact Jenny on 0412 689 775 before Sunday, February 18.
